It's not over! :)

As if yesterday was not enough, I had another great experience today! My parents and I checked out of the hotel and headed to Cape Cod to the beach house that we were so lucky to have borrowed! I figured I would call Dr. Zeitel's office and leave a message for his secretary so that she could call me Monday morning for a possible appointment. Well, when I called, a man answered the phone and I surprisingly asked if Dr. Zeitel was there. This man replied, "Speaking." I cannot explain how big the smile on my face got! I told him who I was and started explaining everything and he interrupted, "Lauren Crosby? Wait, how are you calling me right now? Aren't you suppose to be on the 19th floor recovering on the cardiovascular ward?" I started laughing and finished explaining what happened. He was in shock then said, "Wait, how did you get this number?" I replied, " Isn't this your secretaries?" (This is the best part!) He said, "No this is my direct line to my office which I am NEVER in, especially on Saturdays, I just popped in to get some work done." OH WOW! Both of us were speechless and laughing. We talked about a plan and he said, "I have surgery but I WILL see you Wednesday!" What are the chances that I call a Doctor's office on a Saturday and the one I actually want to talk to answers the phone? I really think that this trip was more to see Dr. Zeitel and hope that at the appointment we can figure out some sort of plan instead of just waiting for something else to happen or for something to get worse. I am so excited how everything is playing out, I hope this streak can continue and get us all home safe and happy! Mom and I have loved hearing from everyone via text/phone calls, thanks so much again! How could anyone not believe in the power of prayer after this!? How great is our God! love always, Lauren
